A Local Favorite: Mineral Farmer's Market in Louisa County
Updated: Oct 8
Heather and I were showing properties in Louisa County and had time to stop by the Mineral Farmer's Market.

What You'll Find
Held every Saturday morning, this market has all kinds of vendors, and we love coming out here when we can. It's a well-attended event that draws people from all over the Richmond area, along with folks coming from the Lake Anna area.
This market had it all: produce, plants, posies, eggs, meat products, baked goods, sauces, preserves, honey and lots of artisans.

A Few Highlights
One of the newer vendors is Whiteacre Supply Company, who have some really tasty sauces.
The kids had a great time at the petting zoo that was set up. There were some baby goats getting tons of attention.

Plan Your Visit
The market's sign says it runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, May through October. So if you are out Louisa way on a Saturday morning, plan on a detour to Mineral and give this market a try. You won't be disappointed.
