We enjoyed a lovely afternoon date downtown at The Firehouse Theatre. One of our past clients reached out to let us know they would be performing in a play there, and we were honored to be asked to go.

Now honestly, you never really know what you're in for when you go to a small local production, right? But let me tell you, we absolutely loved this one! And no, it wasn't just because we knew one of the stars. This was a well-written, thought-provoking story about love and life and the many possible twists and turns it takes.

Constellations

The play was Constellations, and our client, Marie Lucas, was wonderful as the female lead, Marianne. Alongside Roland, her scene partner in the two-person play, Marianne takes the audience through the quantum multiverse and all the possibilities of love and life.

That run has since closed, but we highly recommend keeping an eye on what's playing at the Firehouse. And if you ever see Marie's name on a cast list, definitely go!

A Little History

The Firehouse Theatre Project was the brainchild of Harry Kollatz Jr., Carol Piersol, Anna Senechal Johnson, Bill Gordon and Janet Wilson in October 1993. They began operating out of the old Engine Company No. 10 fire station and eventually bought the building in 1999.

It has had its ups and downs over the years, but more than 30 years later it remains a thriving hub of creativity. If you have any interest in theater at all, this is a place for you to check out.
