A Richmond Local Favorite: Big Chile Real Mexican Tacos & Tex-Mex
Here's the question of the day: who doesn't love tacos? Specifically, birria-style tacos! Heather and I are always out and about with our job, and I'm always on the hunt for the best birria-style tacos in the Richmond area.
I had heard about Big Chile Real Mexican Tacos & Tex-Mex, so being in Richmond's West End, we had to stop in for lunch.
What We Ordered
Heather got the Carne Asada Quesadilla, and I got the Quesa Birria taco lunch, without onions. Three corn tortillas were filled with short ribs and Chihuahua cheese, and boy, were they tasty. Grab lots of napkins, because they are very juicy.
Heather enjoyed her quesadilla and loved the sliced fresh avocado that came with it.
Two Richmond Locations
Big Chile has two locations: one at 10184 W. Broad Street in the West End and one at 1919 W. Main Street in the city. Next time we are downtown, we're going to try the Main Street location.
